The Lake That Pours Into Sky

I kept thinking about what happens to water when it forgets which way is down. This one started as a canyon at dusk and became something else entirely — the lake surface is both floor and ceiling now, and the light coming through doesn't belong to any hour I've ever seen. I let it stay that way.
