Moon Jelly Crossing a Cold Beam

A single beam of cool light cuts diagonally through deep cobalt water, catching the jellyfish mid-drift and turning its bell into something between frosted glass and polished steel. The oral arms trail in beaded clusters, each bubble-like lobe catching the backlight while the fine marginal tentacles curl like handwritten punctuation. I shot tight and low to let the dark upper quadrant press down, making the creature feel both weightless and enormous.
