Foxfire Along the Fallen Oak

I found this scene in my mind after a long walk through wet autumn woods — a mossy log splitting open, breathing cold blue-green light from within, while a wren perches at the edge as if reading something important. The glow isn't dramatic, it's shy. That's the part I wanted to hold onto.
