A teacup holds an entire fogbound shore within its rim — sea stack, surf-worn rocks, and spray escaping upward into a pale, diffused glow that reads equally as dawn or deep winter noon. The cup sits in near-silhouette, its glaze catching scattered droplets on the surface below, collapsing the domestic and the vast into a single quiet tension. I wanted the scale to feel genuinely uncertain, as if the ocean shrank or the cup simply grew patient enough to hold it.
