Clockwork Hummingbird Drinks Opal Light

I wanted the tension between cold machined steel and something achingly alive — every gear and scroll on the body rendered sharp while the iridescent wings and glowing crystal bloom dissolve into lavender haze. The beak touches the flower like a needle finding a vein, and that single point of contact is where the whole image breathes. Shot through a diffusion filter to let the ambient pink-violet atmosphere swallow the edges and keep the eye locked on the mechanical heart of the bird.
