Birch Bark and Telegram Paper, March

I've been pressing found materials between glass for months — this one started with a strip of birch bark I pulled off a fence post near Kallio and a torn page from a 1971 Finnish-language telegram form. The overlap felt like two kinds of silence talking to each other. Scanned flat, then layered with a single pass of diluted iron gall ink I let bleed at the edges.
